If you've ever seen a WA car in HPI, Hot 4s, Street Commodores, Zoom, a Ford mag or more in the past 20 years ... chances are it was shot and written up by the one known as Uncle Rick or The Leprechaun.
Rick began shooting motorbikes at Barbagallo Raceway in 1987 (yes, 87, as in eighty - seven !!) and has been a WASCC accredited photographer for some 15 years now.
Rick is also one of the main photographers at the Perth Motorplex and has worked at The Plex ever since it opened for the 2000 / 2001 season.
Rick's full time work encompasses handling the WA side for no less than 14 Australian National car magazines and many of his features also make it into a variety of overseas magazines.
After the best part of 20 years shooting WA motorsport as well as Perth's key modified cars of all genres, Rick is still full of enthusiam for his photography.
In fact, when he is not shooting cars, Uncle Rick can be found in some remote part of the Wheatbelt or up a deserted bush track developing his nature / bush photography business.
